Ready to Visit?

The Riverbend Preserve is a private nature park but we do allow a limited number of seasonal visitors for overnight stays. Two glamping sites and a lovely, modern bungalow are currently available:

20 windows bring the outside into this cozy, two bed/two bath bungalow. Take your coffee and breakfast on the front porch, step out the back door onto hiking trails exploring the forest, river, and fields, then watch the elk through the kitchen windows before sunset.

Experience the wilderness in uncommon comfort inside a fully furnished 16 x 20 canvas tent with a king size bed and wood-burning pellet stove. This campsite has running water, bathroom, hot water outdoor shower, and Wi-Fi

This wilderness campsite features a 10 x 12 canvas tent with a queen size bed, electric heater, Wi-Fi, outdoor table and chairs, and basic amenities

 FAQs

  • While the Preserve borders State of Washington public lands to the west, our 220 acres here are private property and are legally accessible only to invited guests. We ask that our neighbors in the surrounding areas respect the marked property boundaries and not trespass for any reason.

  • The Riverbend Preserve is a wildlife sanctuary, so no hunting or trapping by humans is allowed.

Predatory native species, however, are encouraged to continue playing their part in the balance of this ecosystem.

  • The mission of the Riverbend Preserve is two-fold:

    • Create a natural and sustainable micro-ecosystem where the forest, field, river, and wildlife can thrive
    • Inspire an appreciation of the remaining natural world through an authentic wilderness experience

Environmental conservation and protection are key, so access is created and maintained with care and intention.
